New Year's Eve in New Orleans
New Orleans is known for it's nightlife and party atmosphere....and that is exactly what New Year's Eve is all about! Jackson Square turns into a giant outdoor party every year for revelers to watch an enormous fireworks display and party till dawn. Move over, New York because in New Orleans, we don't drop a ball...we drop Baby Bacchus at midnight, a New Orleans tradition. Bourbon Street clubs all host New Year's Eve parties and tend to be packed wall-to-wall with high spirited party-goers of all ages.
